Believe it or not, the 2009 NASCAR season is right around the corner. First to 
review the 2008 season, congratulations to Brickyard Boys who won their 6th Couch Coach 
Championship. 

We had 46 teams in the 2008 season, 37 teams received some sort of payout. That's a 80% 
payout rate, (pretty good).

For the 2009 season, we will be making no changes, the program we're using is working 
good, saving your extra money each week and being able to bank it is working good. I am 
in the process of updating the website, so please check back often.  As usual, as I 
receive your application and payment, your team will be listed on the franchises page. 
That way you can be sure I got your payment and you can see which of your friends you can 
plan on whooping this year.

As you know, the more teams we have, the higher the payouts at the end of the year and 
the farther back in the year end standings the payouts go. 

As usually, please get your application and entry fee in as soon as possible. That makes 
things SO much easier on my end.  

If you're checking out our site and are interested in how the drivers salaries,
submitting lineups, etc work, click on "submit starters" button to the left. 
Another page should have popped up with team name and password. Scroll down to 
Roadrunner Racing and use the password 8888. As you can see, I had $10,875 dollars banked
for the last race. When you select a driver, you notice the salary remaining changes. These
were the salaries from last fall, which will give you an idea of how the teams are usually
composed.  If you click on the "View Starters" button, you can see the different lineups for last
years race at Miami.  If you click on the "Schedule & Results" button and go down to the archives,
you can check out the results from the last 10 years.
